Guess What I Am Up To
Cheok and I are not morning people, we love our weekend sleep in on the weekends. I have been trying to think of a nice surprise for him since Friday evening, after our little play in the rain .
I wanted it to be something simple, nothing over the top. Well me being me, I express my love for people around me by cooking or baking for them. Inspiration hit me on Saturday evening, and I knew exactly what I wanted to do to surprise him.
It was a success…he had a big grin on his face. Sometimes the simpliest gesture can mean so much! This weekend has def been about enjoying the simple things and appreciating it.

His breakie almost ready (Sausages missing)
I woke up slightly earlier than him, grabbed my cookie cutters and some fresh white bread. Wrecked my brains on writing something original…but you know what… I just said what I wanted to say… as cliché as it sounds… it was perfect.
Threw some bacon into the grill to crisp up (better than frying them up), whipped up some sunny side up eggs (the toast can soak up the yoke), some sausages and baked beans…done!
He woke up to the smell of bacon wafting through the house, I must say that is one of the best scents when you first wake up. Got to the dining room, and saw his brunch read with a cup of espresso… he smiled.
Yea!
